The Bank Overview
Situated along the lifeline of Salcombe, The Bank is a bright and airy maisonette that is ideally positioned for quick and easy access to the shops, restaurants and waterfront.
Whether you enjoy walking the coastal footpath, sailing in the estuary, or a leisurely ferry trip this is a great place to base your holiday from. If paddle-boarding beckons, walk meters from The Bank to the waters edge and cruise along for a morning vitamin sea fix, or a gentle sunset paddle. Talk to Salcombe Finest about hiring a paddle-board for the week.
This elegant building was formerly a bank building and it has seen a brilliant conversion into a holiday home (and a retail space below).
Approached from the back of the property, the 20 or so steps lead up to a fabulous outdoor space for relaxing in the sunshine on comfortable outdoor furniture with a gas BBQ to fire up for al fresco dining.
Entering the spacious hallway, you will find a bright double bedroom with doors that open out onto the terrace. There is a modern shower room for this bedroom to make use of, and a very useful desk space in the hallway for those working from home (whilst on holiday!) The Bank has super fast fibre optic broadband which is a real bonus.
The hallway leads to a stylish open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen including a fantastic Sage coffee machine. There is a slither of a view over the estuary from one of the windows, and a great position for people-watching as they amble along the high street.
Stairs lead to the second floor where there is a bunk room, family bathroom and fantastic master bedroom which has glorious estuary views from its window. The bed has been purposely raised so that you can enjoy a cup of tea in the morning with a view over the twinkling waters; heaven.
No pets allowed.
One parking permit provided for long stay car park (does not guarantee a space).
Smoking not allowed either inside or outside on the terrace.
