Summer Celebration Open Day at Sharpham House & Gardens
Enjoy the splendour of the Grade 1-listed Sharpham House & Gardens at the summer open day. The property is open to the public to explore, and the swimming pool will be open for the day with lifeguards in attendance. There’s plenty of activities including vineyard tours, campfire cooking and mindfulness workshops. There’s even a beer tent for parents!

Glas-Denbury Festival, Denbury
Glas-Denbury prides itself on being a safe, family-friendly festival held in a beautiful Devon setting. Doom Bar Merlin Rocket Week
Kicking off sailing season is the Doom Bar Merlin Rocket Week. Sailing enthusiasts flock from all over to attend this annual event, which is run by the Salcombe Yacht Club. Make sure you get a ticket to Byng’s pig racing and barbecue event on Thursday 12th July – it’s an event that’s not to be missed!

Friday 13th – Sunday 15th July
Now in its 5th year, the Kingsbeer Festival might well be one of the world’s most beautifully located beer festivals. Panoramic views of the River Dart are the perfect backdrop as you sample the fantastic beers on offer. This year there’s over 60 ales and ciders to choose from as well as live music and a BBQ. Even better – if you travel to the Festival via the steam train (valid on the day – ticket must be shown) then entry is free!

Dartmouth Artisan Market
Held on the last Saturday of every month, the Dartmouth Artisan Market is a great place to discover locally made crafts including jewellery, soaps, homewares, leather, bags, scarves and even furniture! It’s open 9am – 3pm and held in Dartmouth’s Old Market Square.
