We firmly believe in supporting the local community. All our crab is caught by Salcombe boats and brought straight into the quayside to provide you with the freshest and tastiest crab meat.

Our Bigbury Bay Oysters are farmed close by on the river Avon in the South Hams. And our Devon scallops are bought in fresh daily from Brixham.

But do you know your native oyster from your pacific? Did you know that the scallop is a mollusc and the only bivalve that can swim? Did you know that crabs are nocturnal, hiding during the day, but foraging at night up to 50 metres from their hideouts?
