Delivery Details
Where do you deliver to?We deliver to all UK postal codes with the exceptions of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and all Scottish islands.
How much is delivery?
We make charge of £7.50 per order; this covers up to a total weight of 15 kg so maybe you could share an order with friends and family.
How do you deliver?
We use an overnight courier company that delivers all our seafood around the country; they’re called APC and come with a wonderful reputation particularly from other Devon based food companies. Your package will be delivered between 8.00am and 5.00pm on your specified delivery date. However APC are very reliable and more often than not they will deliver your parcel before midday. Deliveries to most postal codes in Scotland will be made by 4pm.
How will you keep my items cool and in perfect condition?
All your products will be vacuum packed or in pots. This is with the exception of oysters that are still alive and kicking and are packed loosely. We place the items into an insulated polystyrene box surrounded with gel ice packs to keep your items cool and in optimum condition during transit.
In temperature trials, our packaging system has been proven to keep shellfish at fridge temperature for up to 36 hours, even in hot weather, so you can be sure that your items will be in the best condition when they reach you.
When will I receive my order?
You can choose your own delivery date when placing your order online. At the checkout you are able to specify delivery from Wednesday through to Saturday. You can forward order for delivery up to three weeks in advance. Your package will be delivered between 8.00am and 5.00pm on your specified delivery date.
What happens if I am not at home when my order arrives?
During checkout we will ask for additional delivery information e.g. a safe place to put your parcel if you are not at home to receive it. Lots of our customers ask for their delivery to be left at a neighbours or in a garden shed; the courier company will leave your delivery wherever you specify but, as you were not available to sign for your order, we cannot accept liability if it is not there when you return.
